We are excited to welcome Kyle Frederick, Estland’s new Photo/Video Hybrid, to the team! Kyle brings over a decade of professional commercial photography and videography experience to the table that will take our clients’ visual storytelling to the next level.
A Full-Time Photographer & Videographer Joins The Estland Team.
As our Photographer/Videographer Hybrid, Kyle is Estland’s new full-time in-house photographer and videographer. He will lead Estland’s visual storytelling efforts, including scripting, strategy, shooting and final editing. Kyle has over a decade of commercial experience in real estate, hospitality, the music industry, weddings and events. He can do it all, from professional headshots and product photography to drone videography (he’s a licensed drone pilot) and commercial shoots.
His Passion For Visual Storytelling Started At A Young Age.
For Kyle, creativity is not just a job; it’s a passion he’s been pursuing since he was a kid. He first took up filmmaking with his family’s camcorder in elementary school and always knew it was what he wanted to do. He graduated with his B.A. in Media Arts and Design from James Madison University and shortly after co-founded Frederick and Reid Photography with his wife. They’ve been capturing award-winning wedding and commercial photography and videography for clients across Virginia since 2014.
Kyle Connects With People From Concept To Completion.
What sets Kyle apart, besides his one-of-a-kind talent, are his listening and organization skills. He takes the time to discover his client’s ideas and bring them to life – all while staying on top of deadlines and deliverables. He likens photo and video projects to cooking intricate recipes and loves taking raw, unassuming ingredients, and putting them together to create masterpieces.
When Kyle’s not behind the camera, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two cats, Nylah and Maya. They love hiking, watching movies, and exercising and have traveled to over eight countries together.
