We are excited to announce the addition of a talented and passionate designer to our team. Please join us in welcoming Austin Raines to Estland! Austin brings a wealth of design experience that will be an asset to our team and clients. As a JMU graduate, he’s pumped to be back in Harrisonburg, working with local businesses to bring their branding to life.
Austin Brings Vibrant Designs To Life.
Austin joins Estland after working for several years in St. Louis for the Cartel design firm. While at Cartel, Austin worked on web design projects, animation and motion graphics, in addition to traditional branding like logos, typography and identity systems. He played a pivotal role in the rebranding of Downtown North in St. Louis. Austin also assisted in developing the award-winning branding to celebrate Guatemala’s anniversary of Independence, which was featured at the Guatemalan Embassy in Washington D.C. He was also the Creative Director of a vaccine card design profiled in TIME Magazine and has extensive experience in book cover designs used by German publisher Vervuert Verlag.
JMU Fueled His Love For Design.
We’re excited to add another James Madison University (JMU) graduate to our team! Austin began his career in the Fabrications Lab at JMU, where he designed furniture and 3D objects while obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design. He then studied abroad at the Umbau design studio in Vienna, Austria. His explorations led him to Harrisonburg’s own Explore More Discovery Museum, where he assisted in developing their branding design systems.
Austin’s Excited To Get To Know Estland’s Clients.
Austin is pleased to be back in the Shenandoah Valley, working with Estland to help promote our clients and their brands. As a Digital Hybrid, he can help on many projects and brings strength to our branding, digital design and web design team. Estland can now offer 3D modeling and digital animation. Austin is already an excellent addition to our team, and we can’t wait to see how his talents take our clients to the next level.
