Small Business Lifelines Within Reach

Many local small and medium sized businesses are in crisis mode right now. We are struggling to adapt to our new economic reality during this pandemic and economic shutdown. Businesses need help financially. They also need to quickly adjust their marketing and sales strategies.

Thankfully there are lifelines available to help small businesses that are struggling to keep their head above water. Here are a few resources that may be able to help your business during the COVID-19 crisis.

  • SBA disaster loans: This is the part of the federal stimulus package designed to help small businesses — the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) loans, which are functionally grants, as long as you spend it the way it’s designed. Estland has partnered with F&M Bank to offer up to a 40% discount for marketing services for businesses that qualify for these loans.
  • SBDC Business Resource Guide: The Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has assembled a list of resources for small businesses in the Valley. SBDC business advisors are available to help eligible companies apply for the emergency loans, and refer you to resources for SBA debt relief funds.
  • Facebook small business grants & credits: Facebook is offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits to help businesses impacted by COVID-19.
  • Google Ad credits: Google is giving our small businesses a total of $340 million in ad credits, which can be used at any point until the end of 2020 across the Google Ads platforms.

The Estland team has been working tirelessly with our clients to create marketing strategies to meet the current challenges, and we’re getting great results.
